34th Anniversary Dance in Midlothian, IL
with NICK HARTLEY from Indianapolis, IN calling
& one of our own Fantastic Cuers, Ron Ashenden on rounds.
There were over 14 SQUARES
who came out and enjoyed dancing and
celebrating B‘n’B Flossmoor’s 34th Anniversary
Nick & Ron gave everyone an

On Sunday, May 18, 2008 B‘n’B Flossmoor held their
Annual Spring Fling in Midlothian, IL
with JERRY STORY from Texas & North Carolina calling
and one of our own Greatest Cuers, Ron Ashenden on rounds.
The weather was perfect and there were over 17 SQUARES
who came out and enjoyed dancing to
One of the World’s Best and Most Famous
International Square Dance Callers!
Jerry & Ron gave everyone a
SUPER FANTASTIC DANCE!

On Sunday, March 31, 2008 B‘n’B Flossmoor held a
SPECIAL NEW DANCER DANCE
with International Square Dance Caller
NASSER SHUKAYR from Harlingen, Texas
and Flora Haynes on rounds and lines.
There were over 7 SQUARES of Dancers who took the chance and came out to hear a new voice in the Chicagoland area. They were rewarded with an evening of Great Dancing. In fact, several Dancers commented that they had not been to a dance with so much enthusiasm and so much excitement in a very long, long time!
Even though this was labeled a “New Dancers’ Dance”... it was a far cry from the same ol’ same ol’ stuff we have all become accustomed to at most area Dances. If it had not been labeled and advertised as such... no one would have ever known it. But the really GREAT thing... was that the New Dancers in attendance got a rare taste of what Square Dancing can REALLY be!!!! And reminded us “old timers” of that potential too. Nasser Shukayr provided a rare, pleasant, exciting and enjoyable evening!! Even the rounds and lines had an extra flair of excitement and enthusiasm to them!
WOW... what a night!!

anywhere nearby-- plan to go!

On Sunday, March 2, 2008 B‘n’B Flossmoor held a dance with TONY OXENDINE from Sumter, South Carolina calling and one of our own Greatest Cuers, Ron Ashenden on rounds.
Even though the Dancer numbers have been steadily declining rapidly throughout the Chicagoland area over the last few years; there were almost 13 SQUARES of Happy and Enthusiastic Square and Round Dancers who came out and enjoyed an evening of Great Dancing to

On Sunday, May 20, 2007 B‘n’B Flossmoor held a dance with JERRY STORY from Texas & North Carolina calling
and Wally Smulson on rounds.
It was a beautiful day and an even more pleasant Spring evening. The weather was just perfect for dancing!
There were OVER 14 Squares from several different Clubs!
Jerry & Wally called & cued a really
UNBELIEVABLY GREAT DANCE!
The enthusiasm of the dance could be felt from the beginning until the very, very end. No one seemed to want the evening
to come to a close - as was evident by one of the most smiling and largest Thank You Circles ever seen at any Club Dance!
Everyone there understood why JERRY STORY is
one of the World’s Favorite and Most Popular Callers.

On Sunday, March 5, 2006 B‘n’B Flossmoor held a dance
with TONY OXENDINE from Sumter, South Carolina calling & one of our own Greatest Cuers: Ron Ashenden on rounds.
Even though the weather would not cooperate and decided
to dump a few inches of wet, slushy snow on us --
everyone there still immensely enjoyed the dance.
There were OVER 12 Squares who braved the
weather from a dozen different Clubs!
